Shawn Corey Carter (* 4. december 1969) známy pod umeleckým menom Jay-Z, je americký raper a zakladajúci prezident a riaditeľ nahrávacích spoločností Def Jam Recordings a Roc-A-Fella Records. Navyše spoluvlastní The 40/40 Club a basketbalový tím Brooklyn Nets. Je jedným z finančne najúspešnejších hip-hopových umelcov.
