„Video Killed the Radio Star“ je skladba britskej new wave/synthpopovej skupiny The Buggles vydaná ako debutový singel dňa 7. septembra 1979 cez vydavateľstvo Island Records.[1] Skladba dosiahla vrchol mnohých rebríčkov a množstvo interpretov vytvorilo jej coververzie. V zozname hudobnej televíznej stanice VH1 100 Greatest One-Hit Wonders of the 80's bola skladba umiestnená na 40. miesto.[2]
