Sir Elton Hercules John CBE (narodený ako Reginald Kenneth Dwight dňa 25. marca 1947)[1] je anglický spevák-skladateľ, klavírista, hudobný producent a občasný herec. Od roku 1967 spolupracuje so svojím skladateľským partnerom Berniem Taupinom, s ktorým dodnes nahral viac ako 30 albumov.

Elton John je od konca 80. rokov tiež bojovníkom proti AIDS.[12] V roku 1992 založil nadáciu Elton John AIDS Foundation.
