IndyCar Series 2024 bola 113. sezóna šampionátu amerických formulových pretekov a 29. sezóna IndyCar Series. Sezóna bola zahájená 3. marca 2024 pretekmi Grand Prix of St. Petersburg v St. Petersburgu na Floride a jej záverečným podujatím, ktoré sa uskutočnilo 15. septembra 2024, bol Music City Grand Prix v Nashville, Tennessee. Bola to prvá sezóna, v ktorej boli monoposty poháňané hybridnými pohonnými jednotkami.^[1]

Šampiónom medzi jazdcami sa stal Álex Palou z tímu Chip Ganassi Racing, ktorý tak obhájil titul z predchádzajúceho roka. Vrchol sezóny, 108. vydanie pretekov Indy 500, vyhral Josef Newgarden.

Kalendár

Okrem plánovaných 17 pretekov sezóny 2024 sa 24. marca 2024 uskutočnili nemajstrovské preteky na okruhu The Thermal Club v kalifornskom Palm Springs. Za tieto preteky sa síce neudeľovali žiadne body do šampionátu, ale víťaz získal finančnú odmenu vo výške 1 milión dolárov. Bolo to prvé podujatie tohto druhu v sérii IndyCar.^[3]
