Wales Rally of Great Britain
Wales Rally of Great Britain alebo skrátene Rally of Great Britain (doslova "Rely Veľkej Británie") je najväčšie rely v Spojenom kráľovstve. Patrí do rozvrhu Majstrovstiev sveta v rely a predtým patrila do rozvrhu MSA Britských majstrovstiev v rely. Jazdí sa v okolí mesta Cardiff vo Walese.
Názvy
[upraviť | upraviť zdroj]Od začiatku rely v roku 1932 až do roku 1997 bolo známe ako RAC Rally (z toho do 1969 RAC Rally, 1970 až 1973 presnejšie Daily Mirror RAC Rally a 1974 až 1992 presnejšie Lombard RAC Rally). Od roku 1998 sa volá Rally of Great Britain (z toho 1998 - 2002 presnejšie Network Q Rally of Great Britain a od 2003 presnejšie Wales Rally of Great Britain, okrem roku 2009 kedy aj dlhý názov znel len Rally of Great Britain). "Wales" znamená, že sponzorom je waleská vláda.
